Welcome to the first edition of Signal360! This month we are fully focused on P&G’s participation at the annual Consumer Electronics Show, starting today in Las Vegas. This is the second year of the P&G LifeLab experience at CES, following last year’s award-winning premiere. P&G’s voice at CES goes well beyond the tradeshow floor, including presentations and panel sessions on topics such as Women in Tech, Blockchain, Reinventing Brands, and Consumer Privacy.

Last year P&G’s active participation at CES was a surprise to many. Why would a company that sells consumer goods such as diapers, laundry products, razors, and toilet paper be at an event that has always been focused on the latest consumer electronics gadgets? The answer is remarkably simple. Many, if not all, of P&G’s products are affected by an increasingly connected world, which has rapidly changed people’s expectations of the products they use. Digital technology has created many unexpected industry disruptions at a faster pace than most of us could have ever imagined. What better way to define the future of consumer products than to lead constructive disruption and create breakthrough innovation. That makes CES is the perfect place to showcase P&G’s continued innovation leadership.

In this edition of Signal360 we want to share with you some of the people and stories behind our CES participation. Hopefully it serves as inspiration and education – and a challenge to create the next wave of constructive disruption to showcase at CES in the future.
