Welcome to the August Edition! With the 10th anniversary edition of Signal behind us we are ready to relax a bit, celebrate summer with friends and family, and take a step back to re-energize. It is a great opportunity to catch up with some summer reading and plot plans for the season ahead — an excellent ‘Always Learning, Always Leading’ practice.

For your summer reading, we present you with a selection of Signal 2021 highlights that stood out to us: Noubar Afeyan’s story how Moderna created the Covid vaccine, Signal Trailblazer Tom Ye’s mission to create a competitive advantage by reinventing P&G’s Huangpu’s manufacturing plant, and singer-songwriter Connie Lim’s (MILCK) inspirational story behind her hit songs ‘Quiet’ and ‘I Belong.’ We will publish many more Signal sessions in the coming months.

Summer is also a season of big sporting events, including the Summer Olympics. We explore how companies like Nike, Visa and P&G are increasingly approaching sports sponsorships as partnerships that showcase brand values to deliver business growth.

As your ‘Always Learning, Always Leading’ companion, we complete this issue by reflecting on what we learned from over 50 speakers at Signal 2021 and how Signal360 will continue the journey in the months ahead.

Have a great summer season!
